Job Title: Lead Piping Designer
Job Location: On-Site - Westminster, CO

Salary: $50-60/hr

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Piping Designer to oversee the design and development of piping systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications while managing a team of designers to deliver efficient and innovative piping solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and drafting of piping systems for large scale industrial projects
Ensure designs comply with ASME standards and relevant design codes.
Develop and modify 3D models for piping layouts and systems.
Create and review P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
Conduct pipeline engineering assessments and stress analysis for design integrity.
Provide construction support and guidance during project execution - track schedules, manage budgets, and assign work to meet project deadlines
Develop specifications for piping materials and components.
Optimize layout designs for efficiency and functionality.
Collaborate with project management to monitor progress and meet deadlines - Ensure drawings and deliverables meet company standards, schedules, and budgets
Participate in material selection and procurement processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping design and engineering.
Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools - CADworx, AutoCAD, Navisworks
Strong understanding of ASME standards and piping design codes.
Experience with Midstream Facilities is preferred
Experience in project management and team leadership.
Knowledge of pipeline engineering and stress analysis techniques.
Familiarity with P&ID development and construction support processes.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
