Tax Senior

Position Overview
The Tax Senior will play a critical role in managing and overseeing tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can deliver high-quality service while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to optimize their tax positions.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff members.
Research and analyze tax regulations and their impact on client situations.
Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documents and information for tax filings.
Assist with fiduciary tax matters, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to clients' industries.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
Enrolled Agent (EA) designation is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or tax-related roles.
Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary taxation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
