Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our tax department, oversee compliance and reporting, and provide strategic tax planning advice. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of tax regulations and a proven track record in managing tax-related issues for a variety of clients: Medical Practices, Law Firms, Restaurants, Non-Profits, Government, Construction, Etc.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations while identifying tax risks and opportunities.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including research and analysis of tax issues.
Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance on technical issues and professional development.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance and consulting, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
