Tax Manager

Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee and manage the tax services department within our organization. This position will have crucial oversight on tax compliance and planning activities. This role is crucial in ensuring adherence to federal, state, and international tax laws while optimizing the tax position of the company. The ideal candidate will also support audit processes and contribute to strategic financial planning initiatives. This position requires excellent analytical skills, as well as strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee tax compliance for federal, state, and international taxes
Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies
Conduct tax research to provide guidance on tax-related issues
Prepare and review tax returns and ensure accuracy
Support audits and manage relationships with tax authorities
Assist in financial reporting and tax provision calculations
Evaluate and manage tax risks and opportunities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure tax efficiency
Provide guidance on transfer pricing strategies
Stay updated on tax laws and IRS regulations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA or equivalent certification preferred
5+ years of experience in tax management
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax laws
Experience with tax software and financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in corporate tax and risk management
Proficient in tax research and documentation techniques
