Staff Accountant

Position Overview
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the financial health of the organization, particularly within the music and entertainment sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accounting standards.
Reconcile bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
