Compensation: $100K - $180K base Depending on experience plus bonus!

We provide Layout and Assembly solutions with "First Time Right" by co-working with customers after analyzing their needs and schedule. We have fully Automated Equipment along with Layout and Modelling software to exceed customers' layout and assembly specifications. Our team has expertise and hands on experience to propose, develop and implement cost effective solutions within schedule. We are centrally located in Silicon Valley, Santa Clara, CA in a 10,000+ square feet facility with Clean Room 10K.

Our company is working with the world's leading hyperscalers and research labs to push the boundaries of what is possible in Photonics PIC Assembly. We are looking to hire engineers to support our growth in Silicon Photonics Process Development and fully Automated Active Alignment. The Engineer will be responsible for processes development, process engineering, research and development (R&D), and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Must have a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or Physics with 1+ years of experience:
Silicon Photonics manufacturing, assembly, and packaging experience
Experience with automated active aligment systems
Experience building custom manufacturing setups for photonic components like laser, lens, FAU (fiber array) etc.
Experience with hands-on projects and/or production floors.
Some knowledge of CAD such as Solidworks for designing simple tools.
Good communication and project management skills for tracking deliverables.
Some experience with machine automation and ability to understand computer logic principles.
Working understanding of basic electrical engineering tools such as a multimeter or power supply.
