Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Senior Mechanical Engineer - Industrial Automation to join our team.
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will:

2D drawing creation, GD&T, PLM, Sustaining Engineering, Project Management, Team Leadership, Tolerance Analysis, SolidWorks CAD Package, DFM, Manufacturing, Sustaining, DFX, Manufacturability, Design Reviews, SolidWorks, CAD, Rapid Prototyping, Client Interaction, 2D Design, 2D Drawing, Sheet Metal, Machining, Packaging, Parts, and Mechanisms.
Be able to lead and mentor with good communication skills to also work with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop components and systems for Industrial Automation processes.
Analyze current processes and develop innovative solutions to improve processes.
Develop concepts for prototypes and ensure they are properly tested.
Monitor projects to ensure they are meeting deadlines.
Create and review 2D designs for manufacturing processes.
Provide technical consultation to other departments.
Develop and review GD&T, PLM, and tolerance analysis.
Maintain and improve SolidWorks CAD package for rapid prototyping.
Interact with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the products.
Analyze and improve 2D drawings for sheet metal and machining.
Perform design reviews for manufacturability, cost, and quality.
Support sustaining engineering initiatives.
Mentor junior engineers on industrial automation processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in the field of Industrial Automation.
Knowledge of Robotics and other related disciplines.
Ability to create and review 2D drawings.
Proficient in SolidWorks CAD package.
Excellent project management, team leadership and client interaction skills.
