Senior Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in a fast-paced construction environment. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and project management.

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to provide accurate pricing.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for estimates.
Prepare and submit bid proposals, including scopes of work and pricing breakdowns.
Assess risk factors and develop strategies to mitigate potential cost overruns.
Maintain and update cost databases, staying informed of market trends and pricing changes.
Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements.

Qualifications

5+ years experience as an electrical estimator in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
