Sr. Civil Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Civil Engineer to lead land development projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing various civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while effectively managing project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage civil engineering projects related to land development.
Prepare and review project designs, calculations, and specifications.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment and compliance.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
Oversee grading, stormwater management, and water resources design aspects of projects.
Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and project updates.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians in design and project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
5+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
Proficient in civil engineering design software, preferably MicroStation.
Strong understanding of zoning laws, site design, and storm water management principles.
Experience in drafting design, soil erosion, and sediment control techniques.
Knowledge of stability calculations, swale design, spillway design, and earthwork analysis is a plus.
