Process Engineer - Manufacturing

Position Overview
Based near Pawtucket, RI, we are an established leader in manufacturing and have operations across the globe! The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This position involves analyzing existing processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

* This position includes travel up to 10% - domestic and possibly international to our other factories!

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
Develop and maintain process maps to visualize workflows and identify areas for enhancement.
Conduct quality control assessments and implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
Utilize CAD software to assist in the design and modification of manufacturing systems.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify opportunities for further improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a process engineering role within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with process mapping and quality control techniques.
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing.
Proficient in CAD software and its application in process design.
Understanding of safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with EMS 14001 and QMS 16949 standards is a plus.
