AM 200 full-service law firm with a statewide presence is seeking a Partner to join its education law group. Our education law group represents K-12 school districts, community colleges, and universities on a broad range of issues, including labor and employment matters, student issues, collective bargaining, employee discipline, and administrative hearings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in these areas and a passion for public service within the education sector.
Offer:
200k-400k base salary contingent on experience
Performance-based bonuses
Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance
Qualifications:
10+ years of legal experience
Portable book of business 500k-1Mill
Juris Doctorate and California Bar membership in good standing
Established client relationships and a demonstrated ability to develop new business
Responsibilities:
Drive growth and strategy for the Education Law Practice Group
Build and manage strong client relationships, offering high-level counsel on education law
Lead and strategize complex litigation, including administrative hearings and civil rights cases
Develop and mentor junior attorneys within the group
Oversee investigations and ensure client regulatory compliance
