Position Overview
We are seeking a General Liability Defense Associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience to become a vital member of our dynamic litigation team in the Manhattan Financial District. The successful candidate will be responsible for defending clients against a wide variety of claims, leveraging their expertise to achieve favorable outcomes. This position offers an excellent opportunity to handle challenging cases and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of general liability defense cases, including conducting thorough legal research and drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings, advocating effectively for their interests.
Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for trials.
Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and to offer sound legal advice.
Conduct investigations related to claims, including gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active New York bar admission.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in general liability defense, with a strong understanding of liability laws and litigation processes.
