Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates to ensure successful project execution. This role involves working closely with project managers and clients to provide accurate financial forecasts for commercial painting projects and coatings.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and drawings to understand the scope of work.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to inform pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify project requirements and expectations.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and related documents.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss budget and cost control strategies.
- Continuously update and improve estimating processes and methodologies.
Qualifications- Proven experience as an Estimator in the commercial painting and coatings industry.
- Strong understanding of painting and coatings systems and their applications.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Proficient in estimating software and tools.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
