Title: CAD Designer - Custom Valve Manufacturer
Location: Irwin, PA 15642 (East Pittsburgh)
Hourly: $27 - $31 / HR - Plenty of OT Available ($80,000 - $95,000 OTE)
Founded in 1899 we are a 100 employee foundry operating on a 60,000 sqft facility in Irwin, PA. Our primarily operations are for valve manufacturing which services the steel, pulp & paper, nuclear, chemical, oil & gas, marine and consumer products industries. We are targeting to hire a CAD Designer to join a team of 11 (4 CAD Designers, Manager, R&D Engineers and Mechanical Engineers) who can take custom designs and make the necessary changes in Creo to match customer specifications.
What You Will Be Doing
Prepare assembly & component drawings for sales orders / new product development using Creo
Maintain configurations, generate bill of materials and load components & assembly data into ERP
Prepare production & submittal packages for internal & external use
Perform drawing revisions & modifications
Work w/ assembly, manufacturing & quality assurance departments
What You Need for this Position
Associates Degree in Drafting is ideal (or something similar)
2+ years of CAD design & product evaluation testing
3D modeling software experience (ideally Creo / ProEngineer) but Solidworks / AutoCAD is fine
Manufacturing experience is ideal
