Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Fort Myers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in litigating commercial disputes. This role offers a strong platform for long-term career growth with the support of a highly collaborative legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in a wide range of business and commercial litigation matters.
Manage all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
Draft and argue substantive motions and legal memoranda.
Analyze complex legal and factual issues and develop strategic case plans.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
Support business development efforts and contribute to firm growth.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in breach of contract, banking, title insurance, construction, or real estate litigation is highly desirable.
Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.
