Job Title: BIM Coordinator
Job Location: On-Site in Memphis, TN OR Louisville, KY
Job Salary: $60K- $85K base salary
Requirements: 3+ years of experience in BIM using Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks.
Position Overview
The BIM Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with various disciplines to ensure that all models are accurate, compliant with standards, and meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage BIM processes across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Develop and maintain 3D models using Revit and AutoCAD for accurate project representation.
- Perform clash detection and resolve issues to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project-specific requirements.
- Prepare and manage construction documentation to support project delivery.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams using collaboration tools.
- Assist in project management activities, monitoring progress and addressing potential issues.
- Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and best practices.
- Visualize project data and present information effectively to stakeholders.
- Manage data associated with BIM processes to ensure integrity and accessibility.
Qualifications
- Associates' degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in BIM coordination within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling software.
- Strong understanding of architectural design, structural engineering, and MEP systems.
- Experience with clash detection and resolution methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements for BIM.
- Familiarity with construction documentation processes and data management best practices.
