Senior Auditor
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting audits for non-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. This position requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of auditing principles, particularly in the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of non-profit organizations to assess financial performance and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes and provide expert guidance on best practices.
- Review and analyze financial statements and documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Evaluate internal controls and risk management processes, making recommendations for enhancements as necessary.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior auditors and staff members on audit processes and methodologies.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of audit experience, preferably with non-profit organizations.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, particularly in the non-profit sector.
- Experience with employee benefits and assurance audits is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
