Assistant Project Manager - Utilities/Civil Construction

Position Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the project management team in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, tracking project progress, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of project plans and schedules
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
• Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders
• Support the project manager in managing project budgets and resources
• Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment for projects
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• At least 2+ years of experience in construction industry
• Familiarity with low voltage, high voltage, electrical systems, or civil engineering preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
